- Nord-Lock® Large OD Wedge Washers secure bolts with tension instead of friction. The system cannot loosen unintentionally as it creates a wedge-effect underneath the bolt head or nut. The system comprises of a pair of wedge-lock washers with cams on one side and radial teeth on the opposite side

- Traceability: Washers are laser marked with Nord-Lock brand name, control number and type code for traceability
- Understanding and measuring washer sizing: Washer sizes can be a little confusing. M6 suits a M6 bolt. The inside diameter of a M6 washer is greater than 6mm to allow the washer to fit over the bolt
- Are Metric & Imperial Washers Interchangeable?: In most cases they are which is why we have added metric sizing to the imperial range and imperial sizing to the metric range. - Dimensions: Our stock is genuine Nord-Lock® product, sourced from Hobson Engineering, the Australian Distributor of Nord-Lock® Washers. Although the supply is consistent minor differences may exist between batches such as inside dimensions, outside thickness, visible stamping, appearance, packaging and actual finish
- Material / Coating: Delta Protekt® is an excellent coating. 1,000 hours is the minimum amount of time Nord-Lock steel washers with zinc flake coating by Delta Protekt® can withstand corrosion in a salt spray test. The regular quality testing that is done as part of ensuring high-quality standards, clearly shows that the washers consistently endure even longer hours. *According to ISO 12944-6:2018, 1,000 hours in a salt spray chamber correspond to approximately 25 years in C4 environment or approximately 15 years in C5 environment.
