- Nutserts Riv Nut assortment grab kit containing a variety of popular sizes of Large flange AL Series splined round body open end nutserts which have a low profile large flange head that sits flush on the material giving it a neat appearance. As a blind fastener, the nutsert is installed in instances where only one side of the workpiece is accessible, making it incredibly versatile. Splines on the outside of the body are to help reduce rotation. To use, drill the recommended hole size, install nutsert using a suitable tool. For optimal result it is important the hole size is correct and is the right size for the thickness you are gripping. Once installed it will give maximum resistance.

Packed in a tough clear plastic container, the kit contains some of our most popular sizes designed for service, repair and new installations. - Quantities in the Kits: The kits are handpicked in-house by our staff, there may be a small variation with the quantities per item due to weight or human error, the overall total number of pieces inside the kit should always exceed the total quantity advertised
- Material / Coating: Zinc Plated is the most common fastener of plating due to its the low cost and shinny bright silver finish. A thin layer of Zinc is applied by either electroplating or mechanically. It is intended to be used internally. Whilst some people use it externally it isnt recommended if corrosion is a concern. - How to measure a fastener: Fastener length is generally measured from the point where the surface of the material will be when the fastener is installed to the end of the fastener. Thus, fasteners with heads that sit above the surface are measured from under the head to the end of the fastener, while fasteners that sit flush with the surface are measured from the top of the head to the end of the fastener
