  • Countersunk Xbolt Screwbolt Anchors are an one-piece unit featuring a countersunk head when a discrete or flush finish is desired. Suitable for any trade, carpenter, formworker, tie down applications, racking installers and construction. Can be used in concrete, lightweight concrete, hollow core concrete, block, brick and stone.
  • Features / Benefits: Ideal general purpose anchor, even on temporary jobs as it’s completely removable. They are fast to install with immediate high strength loading with no expansion forces and are vibration resistant. Can be installed closer to the edge than traditional mechanical anchors and at a shallower embedment reducing the chance of striking reinforcing bars or embedded cables. Because of the design of the cutting thread, during installation it does not expand or put pressure on the surrounding substrates
  • Material / Coating: Galvanised is a dull greyish colour and can be a little rough in appearance and is mainly used outdoors because of its superior corrosion resistance and proven longevity. Also known as HDG, it is one of the best coatings for protection against rust. Galvanised fasteners have been used across many industries in Australia for over 150 years in construction, roofing, steel buildings, trailers, bridges, fencing, power poles, marina’s, are just a few examples. Recently we have seen a lot of new coatings developed, terms like class 3, class 4, B8, climseal, mechanical galvanised and ruspert which are all variations of the original galvanising
  • Fastener length: is generally measured from the point where the surface of the material will be when the fastener is installed to the end of the fastener. Thus, fasteners with heads that sit above the surface are measured from under the head to the end of the fastener, while fasteners that sit flush with the surface are measured from the top of the head to the end of the fastener
