  • Chisel Point Chemical Anchor studs are a heavy duty threaded stud used in combination with chemical glass capsules or chemical anchor adhesive injection systems for fastening into concrete and masonry.
  • Features / Benefits: Precut to industry standard chemical anchoring lengths and supplied with nuts and washers the anchor has a hex external for easier installation which does not collect water. The depth indicator on the stud assists for accurate embedment during installation. Bevelled tip releases trapped air and prevents unthreading
  • Material / Coating: Galvanised is a dull greyish colour and can be a little rough in appearance and is mainly used outdoors because of its superior corrosion resistance and proven longevity. Also known as HDG, it is one of the best coatings for protection against rust. Galvanised fasteners have been used across many industries in Australia for over 150 years in construction, roofing, steel buildings, trailers, bridges, fencing, power poles, marina’s, are just a few examples. Recently we have seen a lot of new coatings developed, terms like class 3, class 4, B8, climseal, mechanical galvanised and ruspert which are all variations of the original galvanising
  • Thread Pitch (Metric): Pitch means the distance between the peaks of two threads along a screw, bolt, or fastener expressed in millimetres (mm). Used when referring to Metric parts. For example, a thread pitch of 1.50mm means that the distance between one thread and the next is 1.50mm
  • Fastener length: is generally measured from the point where the surface of the material will be when the fastener is installed to the end of the fastener. Thus, fasteners with heads that sit above the surface are measured from under the head to the end of the fastener, while fasteners that sit flush with the surface are measured from the top of the head to the end of the fastener
