- Alpha Pozi magnetic power driver bit are for Pozi drive screws only. When selecting the right driver bit look at the head of the screw, a Pozi drive has 4 extra tick marks on the head. On the screwdriver or driver bit it will have PZ stamped on the side. Pozi bits come in a range of different sizes, PZ0, PZ1, PZ2 and PZ4 (PZ2 is the most common).Power bits have a 1/4" hex shank with power groove for use in modern impact drivers, drill drivers and quick change adapters
- What is the difference between Pozi and Phillips? One of the most common problems with the screws are that to the untrained eye both recesses look the same. A Phillips Driver will fit into a Pozi screw head but a Pozi driver will not fit into the Phillips screw head, it is not recommended to use a Phillips driver with a Pozi screw as it will eventually round off the recess of the head causing damage to the screw and making it unusable
- What is the difference between an insert bit and a power bit? Insert bits are commonly used with a magnetic bit holder in a drill driver power tool. This combination is economical, provides flexibility and allows a fastener to be magnetically held by the bit but the range is limited to lengths of upto 50mm. Power bits are placed directly into the 1/4" quick-change hex shank or drill chuck, no other parts are required and are available in lengths upto 300mm long
- What is the difference between drill driver and impact driver? A standard drill-driver is an excellent all-purpose tool. The head includes a chuck used to hold bits in place. Both standard screwdriver bits and drill bits can be used, which enhances its versatility. The tool generally has a low speed used for driving screws and other fasteners and a higher speed for drilling.
