- Deckhand is a template and guide to make laying a deck a whole lot easier. The pack includes two (2) deckhands for faster installation, individual holes for drill bit placement so that each section of decking has even and consistent placement of screws across the whole deck
- Features / Benefits: Quick and easy to use for all decking, the deckhand provides consistent spacing between boards and cuts down hours and hours of hard work to allow you to finish the job like a pro. The deckhand is designed for use as a template and guide for the installation of all types and widths of decking. It is specifically manufactured to be used in conjunction with standard size bearers and joists of 45mm width. The deckhand comes with three pre-drilled holes 15mm from the spacer edge, but three more have to be drilled to suit the width of the decking that is being installed. For example: If 90mm wide decking is being installed, then 3 holes have to be drilled using a 3.5mm drill 75mm (90mm minus 15mm) from the spacer edge. The grooves provide a guide for the drill
